Justin Jefferson College history

Jefferson was LSU's top receiver in 2018, with 54 receptions for 875 yards and six touchdowns after participating in two games and not recording a catch his first year.

With 111 catches as a junior in 2019, Jefferson led the country. His 18 receiving touchdowns were second only to teammate Ja'Marr Chase in the country, and his 1,540 receiving yards were third. He produced a remarkable performance against the Oklahoma Sooners in the Peach Bowl, catching 14 catches for 227 yards and four touchdowns.All four touchdowns came in the first half, tying the record for a bowl game and a College Football Playoff game.

He recorded nine receptions for 106 yards in a 42–25 victory against Clemson in the National Championship game. Jefferson announced his decision to forego his senior year and join the NFL Draft on January 15, 2020.
